3.02 Energy to communities update

PURPOSE & ACTION: CMAP seeks to update the Climate Committee on the progression of the agency’s

transportation decarbonization modeling project by providing an overview of the project, a status

update, and a discussion about preliminary findings. This memo provides a brief overview of the

project and updates regarding modeling.

PURPOSE & ACTION: The project team will update the Climate Committee on the 2025 update of the

regional greenhouse gas inventory. At the July workshop, staff will provide an overview of the project

and lead a discussion about how the inventory update can best serve the region.
