2026 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) for consideration and approval

ACTION REQUESTED: Approval

purpose

PURPOSE & ACTION: CMAP held the federally required public comment period for the 2026 RTP from June 12 to July 31, 2026. A public hearing was also held on August 6, 2026. Following the public comment period, CMAP staff reviewed the feedback and made edits to the draft documents as needed. Updated documents have been included in this agenda packet.

 

CMAP requests the Transportation Committee recommend adoption of the 2026 RTP. If approved, the 2026 RTP will be brought to the CMAP Board and MPO Policy Committee for consideration for adoption at their joint meeting on October 14, 2026.
