purpose
PURPOSE & ACTION: CMAP Board approved a contract with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., for grade-crossing feasibility studies in the amount of $300,000. On March 10, 2021, the contract was extended to June 30, 2022, and included a cost increase of $49,900, increasing the total not-to-exceed cost of the project to $349,900.00. Staff is now seeking Board approval for an additional increase in the amount of $80,000 in the contract amount, bringing the total not-to-exceed cost of the contract to $429,900.
