PURPOSE & ACTION: CMAP entered into an agreement with Cities GPS LLC for the Chicago Inclusive Regional Economy Outreach Project. The major objective of this project is to understand which economic development activities undertaken at a regional level could better achieve shared growth, competitiveness, and inclusion goals, referencing U.S. and international best practices. Due to unanticipated CMAP staff resignations, CMAP has requested that Cities GPS assume additional tasks initially allocated to CMAP for completion. CMAP staff are requesting Board approved for a $52,000 cost increase for this project
