purpose
CMAP will enter into Intergovernmental Agreements with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) faculty and Cook County to address challenges in support of the Cook County Property Tax Working Group. In partnership with county staff, CMAP will conduct a process-mapping exercise and partner with UIC faculty to conduct an analysis of the costs and benefits of granting property tax abatements. This work will be funded by Cook County.
