purpose
PURPOSE & ACTION: To support the agency’s efforts to pursue equity and inclusive growth, CMAP initiated what is now called the Community Alliance for Regional Equity (CARE) program (formerly Equitable Engagement Pilot program), which focuses on the inclusion of community non-profit, and grassroots organizations representing marginalized communities in the regional planning process. Staff will provide a program update.
